Position: Project Manager

Localization Project Manager in Beijing Office, China

Responsibilities:
To review project requirements, prepare proposal for client; to track and inform the customer of any additional costs, and update the quotations as and when necessary throughout the project cycle.
To manage and negotiate with vendors & freelancers on cost and schedule, to ensure cost effectiveness and prompt delivery.
To create the project schedule, organize workload, allocate resources, control and monitor this process throughout the project.
To deliver projects on schedule while meeting customer's expectations and requirements.
To maintain good communications among language teams and customers. Create weekly project status reports, post-project report or any ad hoc reports, and distribute to customers and project teams.
To manage and maintain the standard localization procedures, linguistic style-guide and QA checklist for each project.

Requirements:
University graduate with major in English, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent discipline
3+ years experience in the localization industry, with good understanding of the localization procedures and its technologies; Familiar with industry leading localization tools.
Fluent in spoken and written English is essential.
Must be analytical, with good planning and organizing abilities.
Good interpersonal & communication skill and team building skills.
Self-motivated, aggressive and able to work efficiently.
